Wi-fey

We had new broadband connected again this weekend and I'm just about ready to throw the router through the window.
It's meant to be wireless but unless you sit on the damned thing, the wifi signal is virtually non existent. It has to be plugged into the master socket, which is in the front bedroom, but we use most devices in the lounge, less than 10 metres from the router (its a bungalow).
Poor Mr A has been moving furniture, plugging and unplugging and generally trying it in every corner of the house to try and improve the signal, without success so far.
It was during one of his experiments that he caught his new shirt on my bunch of lilies. So while he's meddling with the router, I'm trying to get the pollen stain out. Domestic bliss eh?
