15th Tee - Kendal

It was a fund raiser for the local junior football club today, so myself and three others assembled a team ("Mike Fishwick's Disco Pants") and set about the hills of Kendal Golf Club.

It really is a cracking and testing course which affords some of the best panoramas of the Auld Grey Town.

Personally, this is one of my favourite views: hitting off the 15th tee. It feels like you're going to smack your ball into the heart of the town (as it was, I smacked mine left and out of bounds).

I can also see the top of this hill from my kitchen window when I'm doing the washing up.

We didn't win, but had a cracking day and a good catch up with some good chums.
