Hand knitted using dk acrylic on 3.5 needles.

The owl has been cut from some of my own fabric i created using an Embellisher, the wings are wool felt i made using three different wool rovings, the beak is a piece of acrylic felt.

The eyes are calico which has been sealed around the edges with a lighter to stop them fraying. The pupils are very small pieces cut from a polymer clay cane which i made in 2012.

Used a spray adhesive to attach all pieces to the base of the owl and to attach the owl to the knitted cover.

Never used a spray adhesive before onto acrylic wool if it doesn't work will attach using blanket stitch. Giving to my friend later today who is 80 years young. She is taking me to the hospital for an appointment and this is a thank you:-)
