Round Tower

This is our local round tower.
Story is when the monks were about to be attacked, they would climb up the tower and thumb their noses at the Vikings, etc.
Not sure that's a good tactic, as it depends on how long the enemy want to hang around and they might just decide to light a fire around the base.
The big rock to the left is a bullaun stone. It has a hole in the top filled with water.
