A little light gardening

Decided today that a little light gardening was needed to clear away the troublesome bush that I mentioned yesterday. This is the one that lies doggo until I go on holiday and when I'm away it goes berserk.

So today I got out the secateurs and a small saw and went to work with a will. I also worked out a way of getting them ready for transport by tying them up with string- simple really. So I now have a few bundles of what look like leafy "fasces" to take to the dump.

Maybe plant some pansies in the space I have cleared.
