Still Life with Three Chinese Vases 11.

This fantastic vase has recently been acquired by the National Museum of Wales in Cardiff. It is about four and a half feet in height, made by Felicity Aylieff in 2011. Made in porcelain, it uses a traditional enamelling technique called fencai (soft colours.)The vase depicts Chinese motifs including vases, plum blossoms and fan-like flowers.

And I love it! I will show you the vase from other angles on another day.
