Devils Dyke

Today the royal we went to Devils Dyke for a lovely windswept walk... 5 miles from Brighton and high above the village of Poynings with magnificent views all around.. We had a little walk before we sat with out picnic overlooking the deep Valley the Dyke itself... As we sat taking in the views about 20 blinking dogs came bounding over and trampled between hubby and myself with the two irresponsible dog walkers timidly calling them by their sweet little names.. The dogs of course took no bloody notice as we tried to shoo them away.. About 10 minutes later another dog walker with his pooch let loose came along and again the pooch came bounding across.. I have nothing against dogs, I don't mind them but for Goodness sake dog walkers be responsible for them!
Ok locals will know about the car parks on the way up to the Dyke are notorious for certain sexual activities ok i'll say it DOGGING! Any way Hubby was pissed off by the dogs splodging over the food and asked the walker to come and get his dog and maybe keep it on a lead if he couldn't control it... The dog walker replied don't you know this is the biggest dog area in sussex... WELL I almost choked on my sausage! ;)
