Ooh ooh ooh a new toy!

Well, more than a toy to be honest, my new workstation - my treat to myself for my birthday, my upgrade to my aging and slooow windows desktop (added to the fact that my shiny laptop had been commandeered by SJ) meant that it was essential (that is my story and I'm sticking to it).

SJ kindly stayed in and awaited its imminent arrival while I was off at work - refreshing the UPS page every ten minutes or so - and it eventually arrived at 15:42. the last couple of hours of work dragged on so long but eventually I managed to escape and cycled home (via Tesco for some thank you flowers) and here I am now blipping away on shiny mac goodness...
