After the storm

Last night the weather was violent and did lots of damage all over the region. This morning dawned warm and fine and I went for a walk via the library. While in there the heavens opened and it bucketed down for the best part of an hour before I was able to continue my walk. In St James' Park there were lots of little branches down but the big trees were undamaged and drying out in the sunshine.
