Did not do what we wanted.

The valve on the left is causing trouble...
It regulates the steampressure in the glandsealsystem of the steamturbine.
But: when the load of the unit nr 4 changed the supply to this system switched over from low pressure- to auxiliary steam (as usual) but after that the valve did not pick up the new situation.
The gland seal pressure dropped as a consequence and gave alarm.
This is a special air operated valve of a special brand and normally it works automatic but how do we switch the @!*!@ thing over to manual?

Read the (beep) manual (first we had to search for the documents); after that we succeeded in putting it to manual and we adjusted it till we recieved the right gland seal pressure.
The unit is now at a fixed load and the maintenance department will be asked to take a look in the morning...
