Black Redstart

When our friends moved to France 7 years ago, as a leaving present I made them lots of nest boxes for birds - Tit Boxes, Robin Boxes etc. All the boxes get used every year and Black Redstart now use the open boxes. This year they have reared two broods and are now getting ready for migration. Despite having a slightly deformed bill, this male has been a brilliant dad.
Out walking today we also saw Wild Boar with their piglets.
