Balsam and bees

this is Himalayan Balsam, an invasive species that is now found almost everywhere and not something that should be encouraged. However the bees seem to like it and I had fun this lunchtime trying to capture the bees in the flowers. I actually think this is a hoverfly covered in pollen but whose checking!

I was pleased with this as it is the closest I have come to getting a bee hoverfly in focus while it is flying. Not perfect but I like it.

Parts ordered for oil tank which should be completely drained by tonight I hope
