Coral Tree

A different one to last year's blip, but as striking in vividness.

I was fortunate to be able to get a shot, as at the time there was a storm wind raging. Apart from the wind factor which was troublesome, I had to wait for the sun to appear from behind the clouds. In that respect the wind did a good job.

Huge blue clouds passed overhead that tell of the current snowy conditions inland. Some mountain passes have also been closed due to dangerous conditions.

Most of today was spent in the kitchen: a large batch of tomato and onion stew was prepared, portioned, and has already started to see the inside of the freezer.

Then a macaroni cheese pie came into existence which will be served for supper tonight.

Lastly fresh meat was packaged and also went into the freezer.

A good day, overall.
