Gulls waiting - probably for food.

Taken this afternoon while visiting Aotea Lagoon, Porirua, NZ

Red - billed Gull - Larus scopulinus

The red-billed is a native of New Zealand and is found throughout New Zealand, the Chatham Islands and Sub Antarctic islands.
The red-billed Gull is small compared to other gull species and has a red bill, legs and feet. There is virtually no visible difference between the sexes.
