The final push

is on to get people registering for Glasgow 2014 tickets . A number of the more popular events are showing extremely high levels of demand but unlike London 2012, unsuccessful applicants will not automatically be sold tickets for less popular events.

I know that some people complained that the ticketing system was slow on the first day of sales. This just shows that they did not read the advice on ticket sales as everyone who registered will be entered into a ballot when the sales window closes and all will have an equal chance of success. I imagine there will be more complaints on the final day of this sales period, hence the publicity push in Glasgow central station this morning.
