Tom And His Toy Truck

Today, we traveled to Pisa to see the Leaning Tower and the Duomo.  Such a beautiful day -- blue, blue sky, sun shining, and a lovely cool breeze keeping the temperature perfect for walking and gawking.

Naturally there were hundreds and hundreds of fellow tourists, making for some interesting people-watching.  The wait for the climb up to the top of the tower was awfully long, so we opted just to circumnavigate it, and take photographs from the ground up.  The Duomo was beautiful, with lots of incredible paintings and sculptures inside.

On our way to lunch, we came across this tiny little pickup truck.  Tom liked it so much, he wanted to just tuck it under his arm and take it home with him!  I think if his carry-on bag had been just a little larger ...  (By the way, you can just glimpse the Leaning Tower in the distance behind him.)

Tomorrow is our last full day in beautiful Tuscany.  I can't believe two weeks have flown by so fast!
