A Good Year For The Roses

This, I fear, will be one of the last of the year. However, I think it's quite pretty.

The highlight of my day was a 3 and a half hour workshop. A workshop where I understood virtually nothing from one of the participants (Teilnehmer in German, literally means "Part-taker" and it's shorter than the Englisch word), and where my moment of triumph - I saw an immediate solution to a problem - was dismissed with a "we can forget about that" from a manager I've never met before.

I wouldn't have minded half so much if it had been in the first 20 minutes of the meeting. But it was after 2 and a half hours, and I wasn't asleep...
