Kelpie Rising

Went out for a wee wander at lunch time to shoot a bit more with the new camera. Still a few things to get to used to but it's petty much the same o the user interface as the X10 so all good. Was a wee bit disappointed in some of the focussing but a quick check of the firmware shows it's the same version as folk were criticising on the web; quick upload tonight and things like the focus peaking and the enhanced focus speed will be in the camera. What I have noticed is how quickly I have fell back into the ways of working I did years ago with an old Chinon CG5, I even started manila focussing again. Having the DOF indicator in the viewfinder is fabulous.

So all good so far.
