Old Markings

I love old signs or markings on buildings, some of which give a glimpse into the former life of the building. In the early part of the 20th Century shops seemed to use their gable ends as giant advertising signs - the billboards of their day.

This one simply was a warning not to stick and bills on the wall. A regulation as pertinent now as it was whenever it was first adopted.
