Small Places

Crovie

Crovie is a tiny former fishing village. There is no room for a road beneath the cliff, so residents use wheelbarrows to carry good from a small car park at one end.

After our overnight stop in Cullen we drove along the Banff coast, stopping at Portsoy, Gardenstown, Troup Head and Pennan. Crovie is just a short walk beneath the cliffs from Gardenstown. These are all great locations for photography, and I wish save the pictures to use for a week or two!
