A great day

The world was on my side today, what a lovely feeling! A great day at work, despite the usual rain in Glasgow and sun in Edinburgh.

Oddly enough I got a lovely shot of this statue on my way to the station this morning at stupid o'clock (aka 7.30), all silhouetted against the sun. Felt quite smug that I'd found a decent Blip so early in the day!

But then I left the station tonight, glanced over and saw the scorrie (that's seagull for non-Highlanders!) perched on top of his head. It just made me smile so I couldn't resist blipping it instead. I like the way the scorrie is looking in the same direction as if to say "what are we looking at?" to the Duke!
