Canyonlands

Went round Salt Lake City this morning - in particular the Tabernacle and Temple square - which was a fascinating area; wonderful architecture and we were blessed with great lighting. Then the second of our long drive days to Moab, where we are staying for two nights. We drove into Canyonlands to watch the sunset before a late dinner. Few locations on the planet have rendered me speechless - this was one of them. Words like amazing and awesome don't even come close, it's impossible to create any sense of scale, but suffice it to say that the whole of the Lake district would easily fit into this evenings view, and more! Planning a 5.45am start in the morning too to shoot the Mesa arch in Canyonlands!
