Second Coming...

I thought the heatwave we suffered had killed off my new patio rose as everything about it seemed to wither and die. But I needn't have worried, once the worst of the heat had passed it started to revive with first a new growth of leaves, followed by buds and now finally I have been rewarded with new flowers. Okay, the leaves look a bit the worse for wear, but I can put up with that if I'm going to get a whole raft of new roses.
