Mansefield Memories

By Calder

Outside No.93

This miniature house took me nine months to build from a flat pack with a hundred or so pieces! I glued, painted and wallpapered each part - placed each stair banister and each light fitting. Then researched as to what it might contain in the years of the 19th century when the Edinburgh New Town was being built. It was a very satisfactory feeling of achievement when finished. I then purchased the family, servants and pedestrians from doll makers.

Unfortunately their are few people in Scotland that are interested in miniature houses, -- there are many more in England, Canada and America.
