Peacock on Buddleia

It s warm and dry enough again for butterflies so I thought I'd better make the most of it. It's face is not quite in focus but I love how it's furry body stands out.

I actually spent a long time today trying to capture a bee in flight between the balsam flowers. You can see my best attempt here. It is much improved on a few days ago but I still fail to get the bee sharp. This time I turned my iso right up to 1600, higher than I've ever dared before, and my f stop to 8 to try and increase the depth of field. Any more tips greatly appreciated.

Oil tank parts arrived today so a busy weekend in store here.
