Navigating Bridge

The embargo on pictures from our vessel is lifted and now I can proudly show you our bridge, the fore consoles this time. It is quite a difference with the bridge of the Husky and Retriever. The screens from left to right are : Engine Control and Alarm Panel, Radar Mate, Ecdis (Electronic Chart) Mate, Radar Captain, Ecdis Captain, 2 x DGPS, Echo Sounder, Doppler Log, Navtex and finally Voyage Data Recorder (Black Box). The small screen in the center is the tiptronic screen of our azimuth thruster in the bow. The horizontal consoles are the main engines ( 4 pieces) control, manoeuvring handles, bow and stern thruster and a lot of communication buttons, telephones, radio's and microphones.
Above you see the RPM of our four main engines (MAK), televisions screens of the aft deck, the Rate of Turn Indicator, Heading Indicator, the pitch of our main engines and the independent becker rudder indicators. And finally above all consoles in the middle our periscope to the magnetic compass.
Quite a difference indeed. It took some time to find our way, but that's over now. Happy with this vessel!
