WVU student/soldier

These kids proudly wear their uniforms around campus. It sure has changed since my undergraduate days in the 60's/Vietnam War era.

In 1968 a group of students enrolled in the university in which my father taught were indicted, following a national man hunt, on charges of arson and conspiracy to overthrow the government. Their target - the ROTC building - burnt to the ground. And the university where this occurred, DePauw University, a placid college for the privileged, was not exactly a hotbed of radicalism at the time.
