Domestique

The espresso machine packed up today. We got it as a wedding present. We outlasted the espresso machine - that's got to be good.

Managed my first decent cycle ride since the start of June this morning - I managed 25 miles in the time it took the kids to watch 'Cars' - I left to the strains of the opening number (you may not thank me for that one - not for the first time) and arrived back as Chick did the dirty on The King... not bad.

The rest of the day passed in a gentle succession of odd jobs and DIY while the kids did what kids do - quite loudly on occasion which is no surprise.

We have replaced the espresso machine. We have upgraded. We are pleased.
