Stepford Antics

It's been a very frustrating day beginning with my computer completely freezing up for no apparent reason. We went to the allotment to pick the fruit- and to clear my head- and I spent the afternoon in Stepford Wife mode, preserving and freezing plums and pears. I did two large jars of apples too but they exploded in the oven.
Then I rang Kate who also roped in Ben to help sort computer. No luck - but, hooray, with help from a very helpful young American man on UTube, I somehow managed to press the right buttons and whooooosh- everything started to work again . I am so relieved I don't even care about the hour spent preserving apples that exploded.
What is going to go wrong next? .......
