Thame side at Erith

Despite grey skies, low tide and a threat of rain, I left Mum reading my Kindle and ventured along the Thames Path a little way. This is the view down river towards Dartford - you can just see the QE2 Bridge on the horizon.

The pier on the left is the longest pier in London, and has recently been adapted from commercial to leisure use. It is popular with anglers, though today only one lone fisherman was trying his luck on the end of the pier.
