Mull - looking towards Ardmeanach

Glorious day today. Sailed over to Mull from Oban. Bus from Craignure to Fionnport, then another ferry to Iona. Glorious sunshine. Not enough time on Iona, need to return. Our bus driver, Colin, stopped on the way back to allow some of us off the bus to photograph a pair of Golden Eagles soaring above one of the hills. Fabulous. Then red deer spotted too.

Delicious seafood this evening at Ee-Usk (Fish) restaurant in Oban. Rounded off with a wee dram of Jura 10-year old malt.

I was fascinated by this view of Mull, looking over to the peninsula which had 500 inhabitants pre-Clearances, and only around 10 now.
