Water Magic

What is it about boys and water?
The splash pool in the newly developed Helix was a huge success with the children. I suspect a few adult males of the species would have liked to join in too!
There was a huge turn out to see what has been going on behind the hoardings - a wonderful facility for the area. A place to stroll, cycle and run, to explore the paths and canal. A celebration of nature's ability to regain former industrial areas with just a little help but a homage to those who worked and lived before.

I only hope it is treated with the respect it deserves - I was disheartened to see a cycling father leading his bicycling brood over the newly seeded grass when their arrogant bell ringing failed to part the congested throng of pedestrians and cyclists walking their bikes.
