The ceiling!

Visitors to the church always comment on the vaulted ceiling above the alter end of the church. It's one of the reasons why the building has a Grade II* listing. It is quite something.
I took this photo today as part of my Image of the Week series that I do for our church restoration blog As with blipping, I love the routine of regularly taking a photo and finding out just what it is that catches my eye. A good way of appreciating the every day.
It helps me realise that I'm pretty lucky to live with this ceiling every day! Though I must admit, it's not in our 'house' part of the building.
