A change of season

The forecast of autumnal weather this weekend has seen the appearance of the slow cooker. I woke this morning to a beautiful sunny day and wondered if they had got the forecast wrong, but the wind and rain have now started.

B will be driving back from Oxford this evening, so a meal that will be ready whenever we are ready is handy. Chicken in red wine will go down well!!

This enforced weekend at home has been quite productive without a great deal of physical effort and the athletics on TV (the World Triathlons and the Great North Run) has provided background entertainment!!
