The tastiest meal I’ve had at Nomad, in fact anywhere, for ages, was this utterly divine concoction. Described on the menu as Afghan yogurt with spiced aubergine, it had a dollop of thick yogurt on roasted aubergine slices drizzled with a spicy tomato sauce and served with a mound of various kinds of wild rice mixed with chickpeas and fried onion. I had it twice. Not at the same sitting, I hasten to add, although it crossed my mind.
