Tour Leaders

Despite the forecast today I decided to go out and watch the cyclists on Stage 1 of the Tour of Britain. The rain was relentless and I stood out in it for about 30 minutes before they appeared. I was so glad that I am one of the lucky people who have been blessed with waterproof skin!

This was the leading party about 14 miles from the start line. I had been standing blethering to a free lance photographer who told me that Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish were in the race but I have no idea if they are in this shot or not.
