Handover!

I've been backblipping as we have been in a wi-Fi free zone in Wales this weekend at the Junior Home Internationals. There were only six points in it after yesterday's Individual Event so today's Relay was crucial if our squad (England) were to retain the overall Championship title. All four squads gave their all in testing conditions as yesterday's sunshine was replaced with showers and developing wind. The event was at Clydach Terrace, high above the Valleys in Southern Wales, and very exposed to the elements.

Early doors Scotland took the lead with their 16 year olds, but our 14s hung in there and handed over to the more experienced 18 year olds who took back the lead and the Championship. Wales and Ireland compete with each other as they have smaller and less experienced squads. It didn't stop some of their individual athletes being up there in the placings though.

The weather didn't prevent us from having another great day with the Juniors. My blip is of two Scottish juniors at the handover.
