Spring has sprung

During the past few months the final stages of the garden renovation have been completed. However the lack of natural rain water has meant the artificial tap water full of the chemicals has been placed onto the plants. If a water tank was going to be used there would have been the need for a lot of excavation and rebuilding of retaining walls.

The hot days has lead to the Amaryllis belladonna Lilly starting to bloom.

I remember my mother calling them "naked ladies". However these ones do have some foliage so they are not too naked!

Now it is back to working inside, bathrooms must be Renovated, and painting to be done. The countdown is on to the big changes in October.
