Nolton Steeple

Blipped this on my way home from the gym. It's St Mary's Parish Church. It is a beautiful church with a tall steeple. I have taken pictures of it many times but when i have viewed them i have either missed the top of the steeple, or there have been cars parked outside. This morning, at last , I have got it right. St Mary's Nolton is the largest church in the area and very much a town centre church. Because of it's location within the community, it is used for civic and other functions. It is a fine example of Victorian architecture by John Pritchard , the person responsible for the renovation of Llandaff Cathedral in the 19th century. St Mary's has a strong musical tradition, with fine organ and robed choir. It is a Grade 11 listed building.
Weather is much better today, thank goodness. J has been on a baking spree and has made a corned beef pie and a curry pie. The aroma coming from the kitchen is making my mouth water. We haven't eaten lunch so i think it will be an early evening meal as i am ravenous. Can't wait.
Watching Doc Martin tonight. Light hearted entertainment. I did enjoy the last episode of , What Remains, last night. Did anyone else watch it?
