Du Vin de Campagne

Today started cool and wet, and our host kindly came round to show me how to light the wood-burning stove, and which stack of wood had been stacked longest in the woodshed. While we were there, I noticed these two old wine bottles on the bench. Sadly, their contents, doubtless a well-matured local vintage, had gone, but I returned later to photograph them.
