Stand Wood

Bank Holiday Monday and time for the end of our holiday, but it wasn't going to be straight back to Cambridge. No, we went to Chatsworth House and a small wander about Stand Wood turned into a pretty good hike with lots of photos for me to take - and plenty of sunbeams to photo - this is one of the best of the bunch, almost the very first glade we came to on the walk.

When we got there there were maybe twenty cars in the car park. When we left just after lunch the car park was full (and so were the greens beyond) and the queues went on for a good twenty minutes!
