Town Hall

Huddersfield Town Hall, built of locally quarried Yorkshire stone, it was opened in 1878, including a lavish Mayor's parlour with a mahogany and marble bath! I wonder if the current mayor pops up for a quick soak in between civic engagements.

It incorporates a 1200 seat concert hall, which I am assured is very impressive, but I wasn't allowed in to photograph it today (health and safety you know).

I was in town acquiring Grand Theft Auto 5 for David, which I am sure will be highly inappropriate so I will try not to watch / listen! Now I have to work for the rest of the day, but I have plenty of chocolate to keep me going, and I am sure I can find some excellent displacement activities....
