This is the Blue Lechnaultia Flower named after A French Botanist who was on Baudin's Australian Expedition in the 1800's.
This is just one of the many wildflowers that are springing up along our roadsides at the moment, one of the best seasons by far, all through the Swan Valley and Chittering Valley everywhere is full of colour.

I spent today with my friend who has just returned from Treorchy in South Wales where she has been for three weeks visiting family. It was a good day just catching up.

We made reservations today for our weekend away down the South West, we are staying at Moss Brook in Nannup a small country town half an hour just outside Margaret River. We've stayed here many times, we are so looking forward to this weekend, roll on Friday...
