spent this evening on a canal boat. in the company of my mum & dad and some of their friends... my we'ans & I went to Linlithgow for a wee leisurely trip from the basin to the Avon Aquaduct & back.

lovely albeit slower than walking pace. crazy to think barges were bleeding edge technology 4 generations ago.

good times.
