Caught in the act

When we were in the US i bought a 50mm prime but i havent had the chance to use it yet. I thought i would give it a trial today as I had 10 minutes before i had to board the ferry.
I had some mixed result, i found it was very fast and i could capture images that were very clear when i thought they would be blurred. I will have more trials over the coming days.
What a bummer that the racing was cancelled this morning, it just makes tomorrow more of a build up. I have arranged for our wall monitors to be streaming TVNZ in the morning as our guys have to be on the phones and cant just nip out to the smoko room.
