Determined to go to Bamburgh Beach today despite the less-than-ideal weather forecast. And, after getting ready to head out with camera, drawing stuff, flask, snacks, spare clothes for children, spare spare clothes for children in case the spare clothes got wet as well, etc, etc, it obviously started pissing it down the minute we left the house. By the time we got there the rain had stopped but the wind was howling. We didn't stop long, long enough for a few photos but that was about it. Back to Seahouses, lunch in the pub, a walk around the harbour, an absolute soaking in the heaviest five minute shower ever and back home to dry off.

I ventured out later for a walk on the beach and a bit of drawing, meeting up with the rest of the family in the amusements on the way home. We all enjoyed spending a few 2ps , and that was about us for the day.
