Right in my backyard

I had a busy day today - work, pick up pizza for Mr. M and his buddy's lunch, load dog in car and head to vet for vaccinations, car to garage for routine maintenance, 2 mile walk with dog while car being tended to, then home. Took photos while walking and the view on the drive home. Was having a phone chat with my mother on the back porch and all of a sudden, this bird (I think it's a heron) came flying in near the pond in our pasture. Hard to choose just one photo, but this one won.
