Wasp acrobatics

We have some of that green plastic-coated wire lawn edging around our pond. This wasp seemed to be playing on it as children do on bars. It kept swinging up and down on the wire as in the photo, climbing up onto the top and walking about a bit, then going back and doing the whole thing again. Very odd.

The weather was foul until mid-afternoon, when the sun came out. I took some shots of raindrops on things, including a masterpiece of a dandilion seed which had caught itself on a conifer leaf which was covered with raindrops, but hubby prefers the wasp, so there we are.
