Retrovation Tipple

I am a huge enthusiast for real ales, and when I had the opportunity to purchase a locally crafted bottle at Site Gallery last night, I did so upon entry.
Now, the purpose of being there was to answer an invitation to hear a talk by Laura Buckley, centred around an exhibition of innovative video arts.
I suggested the amalgamated term 'retrovation' as a descriptive of the particular aesthetic quality achieved by experimenting with previous generations of analogue technology.
My rather inane, stream of consciousness response earned my the illustrated tipple. I nervously quaffed it after thanking my hosts and bidding them goodnight.
