Third Year Abroad

By LittleLots

After a rather late start, spent most of yesterday exploring Granada from La Plaza de Toros to La Catedral. La Plaza de Toros is a great place for tapas, lots of little bars all around the arena and conveniently located next to the block of student flats where I spend most of my time. After lunch and my third visit to the phone shop to help a friend with her phone, we wandered further down to the cathedral which is a beautiful building. All around the bottom there are street sellers with massive bags of herbs so the air is thick with their smell.

Despite having decided to have a more productive day, that was about all we got done. Its far too easy to slip into the spanish mindset of 'mañana, mañana'! Later in the evening three of us attempted to meet up with another group for tapas, which proved problematic due to the lack of phone numbers... However after wandering the streets of San Anton and a couple of sangrias we eventually caught up with them and headed on to another Erasmus 'welcome' party, just to make sure we felt entirely welcomed...
